Preventing GERD By Getting Enough Sleep

As a result, they may feel hunger pangs at midnight. When they don’t eat at this time, and they’re fully awake, acid reflux happens.

    According to the National Sleep Foundation, lack of sleep and GERD forms a cycle that complicates each other in the long run when nothing is done to them. In other words, GERD causes more sleeping problems, and as a result, lack of more sleep complicates the GERD further.
